Best in Feeding – The Honest Midwife Awards 2026
However you feed your baby – breast, bottle or a mix of both – the right kit can make a real difference. The wrong kit can make a hard time harder.
Now in their third year, The Honest Midwife Awards highlight products that help families in real life. Entry is free. Brands send two samples, which are tested at home and reviewed by me, a registered midwife.
Feeding is personal, so I kept this category practical. Does it help baby feed well? Is it comfortable for you? Is it easy to clean at 3am? Bottles were judged on teat shape first, because a teat that lets baby latch the way they would at the breast makes a big difference.
This year’s categories
- Best Bottle
- Best UV Steriliser
- Best Steam Steriliser
- Best Wearable Pump
- Best Highchair
What I looked at
- Feeding support – teat shape and flow for bottles, and comfort and suction for pumps
- Ease of use – putting it together, using it and cleaning it
- Safety – materials, stability and secure fittings
- Practical features – noise, portability, storage and a quick fold
- Value for money – including ongoing costs like replacement parts
- Real-life testing – night feeds, busy mornings and feeding on the go
A Note on What We Test
The Honest Midwife Awards judge the products that are entered. We can only test what brands send us, or what we know about and can get hold of. There will be products out there we haven’t seen, and some of them may be better, safer or cheaper than the ones on this page. A win here means a product performed well against the others in its category in our testing. If you know of a product you think we should be testing, tell us. We’d like to hear about it.
Best Bottle 2026
Of everything we award, this is the category brands care about most – and it’s also the one where I felt I owed readers the fullest possible picture rather than just judging who happened to submit a sample. Bottles are a low-cost item, so alongside this year’s entrants we also bought and tested the bottles I’d genuinely reach for in my own clinical practice, whether or not they’d entered the awards. What actually matters with a bottle isn’t the marketing on the box – it’s whether the teat shape supports the same tongue and jaw movements a baby uses at the breast. That’s what we judged hardest on.
What We Looked At
- Teat shape – does it support a broad, breast-like latch rather than a tall, narrow, round nipple?
- Anti-colic performance – is the venting system genuinely evidenced, not just claimed?
- Nipple confusion – does switching between breast and bottle stay easy?
- Materials and cleaning – glass or plastic, how many parts, how easy to sterilise
- Value for money – does the price match what you get?
- Independent recognition – what other testing and awards bodies have found
- Parent and professional feedback – what our tester and The Honest Midwife thought
Gold Winner: Lansinoh NaturalWave Feeding Bottle

The bottle built by breastfeeding specialists, for exactly the reason that matters most in this category.
RRP: approx. £26 (4-pack, 160ml) | Shop the Lansinoh NaturalWave →
Why It Won Gold
The NaturalWave teat has a wide, textured base designed to preserve the same “wave-like” tongue movements a baby uses at the breast, and it’s clinically claimed to reduce nipple confusion when moving between breast and bottle – which is exactly what a genuinely breastfeeding-compatible bottle needs to achieve. Lansinoh’s own AVS Anti-Colic Air Ventilation System reduces the air a baby takes in during a feed, and the bottles are compatible with Lansinoh’s own pump range for a seamless pump-to-bottle workflow. This is a company whose entire identity is built around supporting breastfeeding, and it shows in the design. Of everything we tested this year, this is the one I’d recommend first in clinical practice.
Key Features
- Wide, textured NaturalWave teat base
- Clinically claimed to reduce nipple confusion
- AVS Anti-Colic Air Ventilation System
- Available in Slow, Medium and Fast flow
- Compatible with the full Lansinoh breast pump range
- Soft, flexible silicone construction
- Stackable lid for storage
Things to Consider
It’s a plastic bottle rather than glass, so if you specifically want glass, look to the options below. As with any teat, always check the flow rate matches your baby’s age and feeding pattern.
Silver Winner: NUK First Choice+

Decades of orthodontic design behind a shape that’s trusted in NICUs for a reason.
RRP: varies from bottle size and packs | Shop NUK First Choice+ →
Why It Won Silver
The First Choice+ teat uses NUK’s long-established orthodontic, asymmetrical shape, with extra-wide lip support and a soft zone designed to sit naturally against the roof of a baby’s mouth – built specifically to replicate a mother’s nipple during breastfeeding rather than a generic round or tall shape. It’s genuinely affordable, widely available, and it’s the bottle we found referenced as a NICU-trusted option in independent reviews. For a family who wants a well-designed, breastfeeding-conscious bottle without paying a premium price, this is hard to beat.
Key Features
- Orthodontic, asymmetrical NUK teat shape
- Extra-wide lip support and soft zone against the palate
- Anti-colic venting
- BPA-free
- Available in silicone and latex teat options
- Widely available and genuinely affordable
- Long-established design, trusted in NICU settings
Things to Consider
The asymmetric shape means the teat has a “right way up” – worth showing whoever else is feeding your baby how to orient it correctly. It doesn’t carry the same specific clinical nipple-confusion studies as our Gold winner.
Bronze Winner: Nuby RapidBottle

The only bottle in this year’s entrant field with a genuinely, explicitly triangular teat as standard.
RRP: £13.99-£14.99 depending on size | Shop the Nuby RapidBottle →
Why It Won Bronze
The RapidBottle uses borosilicate glass with a silicone coating, so milk never actually touches plastic, and the teat is described plainly as “gradually sloped” and “triangle-shaped” for a breast-like latch – a claim we could verify, unlike some of the other entrants this year. It has a 3-valve anti-colic system, conforms to EN14350. It’s a genuinely well-designed bottle, held back only slightly by needing Nuby’s own steriliser to get the full “rapid” benefit.
Key Features
- Borosilicate glass with silicone coating – milk never touches plastic
- Explicitly triangular, breast-like teat shape
- 3-valve anti-colic system
- Conforms to EN14350
- Available in 150ml and 270ml
Things to Consider
Full sterilising speed depends on Nuby’s own RapidSterilise+ unit – a standard steriliser will still work, just not at the quoted speed. It’s hand-wash recommended to protect the silicone coating, so it’s a bit more upkeep than a dishwasher-safe bottle.
Also Worth A Look
Two of this year’s entrants didn’t make the podium on our specific teat-shape criterion, but both have real strengths worth knowing about. Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Anti-Colic Options+ has the strongest clinical anti-colic evidence of anything we tested – a genuinely studied internal vent system with a 93% acceptance rate across an 884-baby trial, and it’s the bottle independent testers have repeatedly found “worked best” against colic symptoms specifically. MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic is a well-established, trusted choice, with a well-regarded 94% breast-to-bottle acceptance rate. Neither has a confirmed triangular teat, but both are well-established, trusted choices.
Congratulations
Well done to Lansinoh, NUK and Nuby. Three bottles built around the same core idea – that a baby’s mouth doesn’t change shape just because the milk is coming from a bottle instead of a breast – each solving it in its own way.
Best UV Steriliser
UV sterilisers have taken off because they are quick, quiet and need no water. There is no steam to burn you and no limescale to clear. But they work differently to the methods you may be used to, so it is worth knowing what you are buying. Three UV sterilisers entered this year, and they suit very different households.
A Note on UV Sterilising
The NHS lists three ways to sterilise feeding equipment: cold water solution, steam and boiling. UV is not on that list. UV sterilisers can work well, but UV light only treats what it can reach. Items need to sit in direct light and not overlap, and that is why capacity mattered so much in our judging. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and wash bottles thoroughly first. If you want to stick to an NHS-listed method, see our steam steriliser awards.
What We Looked At
- Real-world capacity – how many bottles fit without overlapping?
- Cycle time – how long before you can feed?
- Drying – does it dry as well as sterilise?
- Ease of use and cleaning
- Noise
- Value for money – does the price match what you get?
- Parent and professional feedback – what our tester and The Honest Midwife thought
Gold Winner: Tommee Tippee Ultra UV 3-in-1 Steriliser, Dryer and Storage

The UV steriliser that copes best with a busy day of feeds.
RRP: £149.99 | Shop the Tommee Tippee Ultra UV →
Why It Won Gold
It sterilises and dries in one cycle, then keeps everything sterile in storage mode. It holds six bottles, which is the most of the three. There is no steam, no water and very little noise. It also handles soothers, pump parts and other feeding accessories. Parents rate it highly too, with 4.7 out of 5 across 98 reviews on the retailer’s page. It is a previous Honest Midwife Awards winner, and it earned its place again on capacity and ease of use.
Key Features
- Sterilises, dries and stores in one unit
- Holds 6 bottles
- UV light kills 99.9% of bacteria, with no water or steam
- Quiet to run
- Suitable for bottles, soothers, breast pump parts and feeding accessories
- 4.7/5 from 98 customer reviews
Things to Consider
The full sterilise and dry cycle takes around 35 minutes, so it is not the quickest. Bottles need to sit without overlapping so the UV can reach every surface.
Silver Winner: Vital Baby Advanced Pro UV Steriliser and Dryer

A neat, good-looking UV steriliser that dries too.
RRP: £139.99 | Shop the Vital Baby UV Steriliser →
Why It Won Silver
The Vital Baby uses UV LED to sterilise, with a 12 minute sterilise cycle and a separate drying setting. Storage mode tops up the sterilising every two hours and keeps items sterile for up to 72 hours. It sterilises more than bottles, so teethers, soothers and toys can go in too. It is compact, looks good on a kitchen worktop, and is easy to keep clean with no limescale to worry about. This sits just behind our Gold winner because of how much it holds.
Key Features
- UV LED sterilising, no water or chemicals
- 12 minute sterilise cycle
- Drying setting
- Storage mode keeps items sterile for 72 hours
- Suitable for bottles, teethers, soothers and toys
- Timer display with a completion alert
- Compact design
Things to Consider
Capacity is smaller than you might expect. Our research found it comfortably fits around three bottles without overlap, which matters with UV. Our testers also found the drying cycle on the long and noisy side. It suits a smaller household, or someone who sterilises little and often.
Bronze Winner: Nuby 3 Minute UV Steriliser

The quickest steriliser here, and the one to throw in your bag.
RRP: £100 | Shop the Nuby 3 Minute UV Steriliser →
Why It Won Bronze
A full cycle takes just three minutes, which is a real help when you need a clean bottle now. It is compact, light and easy to carry, so it works well for travel, grandparents’ houses and top-ups through the day. The UV light switches off automatically if the lid is opened mid-cycle For quick, on-the-go sterilising, it is hard to beat.
Key Features
- 3 minute sterilising cycle
- UV light kills 99.9% of bacteria
- No water, chemicals or cooling time
- UV switches off automatically if the lid is opened
- Compact and light, good for travel
- Suitable for bottles, dummies, teats and small toys
Things to Consider
It holds around two bottles and does not dry, so it is a better second steriliser than a main one. Wipe items dry or leave the lid open to air dry. Items need to be in direct contact with the UV light, and latex is not compatible.
Congratulations
Well done to Tommee Tippee, Vital Baby and Nuby. Three different UV sterilisers for three different kinds of family.
Best Steam Steriliser
Steam is one of the three methods the NHS lists for sterilising feeding equipment, alongside cold water solution and boiling. It is the method most parents reach for, and it is still the one I would point you to first.
What We Looked At
- Cycle time – how long before you can feed?
- Capacity – how many bottles fit, and what else goes in?
- Drying – does it dry as well as sterilise, or do you air dry?
- Extra uses – does it earn its space on the worktop?
- Ease of use and cleaning – including limescale
- Value for money – does the price match what you get?
- Parent and professional feedback – what our tester and The Honest Midwife thought
Gold Winner: Baby Brezza SuperQuick Steriliser Dryer

The quickest steam steriliser we tested, and the one that copes best with pumping parts too.
RRP: £159.99 | Shop the Baby Brezza SuperQuick →
Why It Won Gold
A full sterilise takes just 5 minutes, and sterilise plus dry takes around 10. That is a real help when you need a clean bottle now. It holds 8 bottles plus 2 sets of pump parts, including wearable pump parts and accessories from any brand, so it suits families who are feeding and pumping. There are four modes – sterilise and dry, sterilise only, dry only and storage – and everything stays sterile for up to 48 hours. The display has a countdown, and it switches itself off when it has finished. If you want one steriliser to do the lot, this is it.
Key Features
- 5 minute sterilise cycle
- Sterilise and dry in around 10 minutes
- Holds 8 bottles plus 2 sets of pump parts
- Suitable for wearable pump parts and accessories from any brand
- 4 modes: sterilise and dry, sterilise only, dry only, storage
- Keeps items sterile for up to 48 hours
- Countdown display and automatic shut-off
- 1 year warranty
Things to Consider
It is the most expensive of the three. It needs descaling roughly once a month, and distilled water helps stop limescale building up.
Silver Winner: MAM 6-in-1 Electric Steriliser and Express Bottle Warmer

A steriliser that doubles as a bottle warmer, from a brand midwives know well.
RRP: £91.99 | Shop the MAM 6-in-1 Steriliser and Warmer →
Why It Won Silver
It sterilises in 5 minutes and also warms bottles, with a gentle setting for breast milk and an express setting for formula. It defrosts and warms baby food too. Two baskets hold up to 6 bottles, and the lid doubles as a drip tray. It comes with tongs and a 2 year guarantee. Parents rate it well, with 4.6 out of 5 from 63 reviews on the retailer’s page. If you want one gadget instead of two, it is a very good use of worktop space.
Key Features
- 5 minute steam sterilise cycle
- Gentle breast milk warming and express formula warming
- Defrost and baby food settings
- Two baskets, holds up to 6 bottles
- Lid doubles as a drip tray
- Tongs included
- 2 year guarantee
- 4.6/5 from 63 customer reviews
Things to Consider
We could not find a drying function, so bottles need to air dry after sterilising. It holds fewer bottles than the other two, so it suits smaller households or families with a regular pattern of feeds.
Bronze Winner: Momcozy 8-in-1 Electric Steam Baby Bottle Steriliser and Dryer

The best value of the three, and the only one here that holds 8 bottles and dries for under £80.
RRP: £79.99 | Shop the Momcozy 8-in-1 Steam Steriliser →
Why It Won Bronze
For £79.99 you get steam sterilising, a drying mode and room for 8 bottles. It keeps items sterile for 24 hours in storage. It also warms bottles, defrosts and steams baby food, so it does a lot for the money. There is an auto mode if you would rather not choose, and it is the cheapest way here to get a steriliser and dryer in one.
Key Features
- Holds 8 bottles
- Auto, Sterilise and Dry modes
- Keeps items sterile for 24 hours
- Bottle warming, defrost and steam cooking functions
- Kills 99.9% of germs
- Lowest price of the three
Things to Consider
The sterilise cycle takes around 14 minutes and the dry mode around 40, so it is the slowest of the three. If you need a clean bottle in a hurry, the Gold winner is quicker. It is also newer to the market, so there are fewer independent reviews to go on.
Congratulations
Well done to Baby Brezza, MAM and Momcozy. Three different steam sterilisers for three different kinds of family.
Best Wearable Pump 2026
Wearable pumps have genuinely changed what pumping looks like for a lot of families – no wires, no sitting still for twenty minutes, no reason a pumping session has to mean putting everything else on hold. But “wearable” covers a huge range of quality, and the gap between a good one and an average one is felt directly on the body. Five pumps entered this year, and we tested each on suction performance, comfort, ease of cleaning and, above all, whether it was actually comfortable enough to use every day.
Following our research from our last few awards and this year, we’ve noticed that ‘traditional’ electric breast pumps aren’t being used as much by the families we’re hearing from, so we’ve decided to drop this category from the awards.
What We Looked At
- Suction performance and adjustability – can it be tailored to what’s actually comfortable?
- Comfort and fit – does it cause pain, rubbing or trauma over repeated use?
- Modes – does it mimic a natural stimulation-to-expression rhythm, not just constant pressure?
- Battery life and charging – how many real sessions before it needs plugging in?
- Noise level – can you use it in a meeting or a quiet room without announcing it?
- Ease of cleaning – how many parts, and how fiddly are they?
- Value for money – does the price match what you get?
- Parent and professional feedback – what our tester and The Honest Midwife thought
Gold Winner: Lola&Lykke Bloome Wearable Pump

The most complete wearable pump we tested this year, and the only one with genuine heat function built in.
RRP: £175 Single | £319 Double | Shop the Lola&Lykke Bloome →
Why It Won Gold
The Bloome offers hospital-grade suction up to 339mmHg across 9 adjustable levels and four distinct pumping modes – Wake, Rhythm, Flow and Surge – so it can genuinely be tailored to what feels right rather than offering one setting dressed up as several. The integrated heat function, with four temperature settings up to 41°C, is a real point of difference and one our tester specifically called out for comfort and easier letdown. At 50 decibels or under it’s whisper-quiet, it’s tested to EU food-contact safety regulations, and it has automatic overflow protection and a 30-minute auto shut-off built in. Four cushion sizes come in the box, which matters more than almost anything else for comfort and fit.
Key Features
- Hospital-grade suction up to 339mmHg, 9 adjustable levels
- 4 pumping modes: Wake, Rhythm, Flow, Surge
- Integrated heat function – 4 settings, 35-41°C
- ≤50dB – whisper-quiet operation
- 3000mAh battery – up to 5.5 hours without heating
- 180ml milk collection cup
- Four cushion sizes included, plus sizing inserts
- Automatic overflow protection and 30-minute auto shut-off
- Tested to EU food-contact safety regulations
Things to Consider
Using the heat function reduces battery life to around 3-3.5 hours, so it’s worth planning charging around whether you’re using it. At £175 it’s a mid-to-premium price point, though the feature set goes some way to explaining it.
Silver Winner: Momcozy Air 1 Double Pump

The most technically powerful pump in this category, with genuinely useful app integration behind it.
RRP: £369.99 | Shop the Momcozy Air 1 →
Why It Won Silver
The Air 1 delivers the strongest suction we tested, up to -285mmHg, across three modes with an auto mode-switching feature that moves from stimulation to expression on its own. It’s Momcozy’s slimmest pump yet at 61mm thick, and the companion app gives real-time milk tracking and hands-free control, which our tester found genuinely useful day to day rather than a gimmick. The wireless charging case is a thoughtful touch, and with only five parts to clean it’s straightforward to keep on top of.
Key Features
- Maximum suction -285mmHg
- 3 modes including Auto Mode Switching (stimulation to expression)
- Ultra-slim 61mm profile
- App control with real-time milk tracking
- Wireless charging case – up to 15 sessions per charge
- 180ml milk collector
- Only 5 parts to clean
- Transparent top-view design for nipple alignment
Things to Consider
It’s the most expensive pump in this category, so it suits parents who want the most features and are happy to pay for them. The app adds real value here, but it does mean the full experience depends on your phone behaving itself too.
Bronze Winner: VitalBaby Flowâ„¢ Wearable Pump

Straightforward, well-priced, and does exactly what a wearable pump needs to do without unnecessary extras.
RRP: £89.99 Single | £159.99 Double | Shop the VitalBaby Flow™ →
Why It Won Bronze
The Flow keeps things simple – two modes, eight levels each, so there’s real adjustability without an overwhelming number of settings to get lost in. At 225g it’s light, it’s BPA, phthalate and latex free, and the milk collectors split apart fully for proper cleaning and sterilising. Four breast shell sizes are available, which is the detail that actually determines comfort. For families who want a genuinely good pump without paying for app connectivity or heat function they may never use, this is the one.
Key Features
- 2 modes (stimulation and expression), 8 levels each
- Up to 12 sessions per charge
- 225g – lightweight, cordless design
- BPA, phthalate and latex free
- Milk collectors split apart for 360° cleaning
- Four breast shell sizes available (17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm)
- Leakproof seal and easy-pour spout
- 2-year warranty
Things to Consider
There’s no app and no heat function, so if either of those matter to you, look further up this podium. It’s a straightforward pump rather than a feature-packed one – which for a lot of families is exactly the point.
Also Worth A Look
Two more pumps entered this category and, while they didn’t make the podium, both have genuine strengths worth knowing about. The Kinderkraft GENTLEFLOW is the most affordable wearable pump we tested by some distance at £74.49, and it doesn’t skimp on adjustability – 3 modes and 9 intensity levels, plus a handy memory function that saves your preferred settings, all with four flange sizes included in the box. If budget is your priority, it’s well worth a look. The MAM Move is tested to EN 14350, the recognised European safety standard for baby feeding products, and charges fully via USB-C in around 90 minutes – a genuinely fast turnaround if you need the pump back in action quickly.
Congratulations
Well done to Lola&Lykke, Momcozy and VitalBaby. Three genuinely different pumps, each one we’re happy to recommend to a breastfeeding parent.
Best Highchair 2026
A highchair is one of those things you will use three times a day for years. It has to be safe and stable, easy to wipe down, and not take over your kitchen. Only one brand entered this category, so I went out and sourced two more highchairs to make it a fair comparison. The three come at it from very different directions – one folds flat to almost nothing, one does six jobs, and one grows with your child into the teenage years.
What We Looked At
- Stability and safety – a sturdy base, a secure harness and a tray that stays put
- Comfort and support – does your baby sit well, and can you adjust the seat as they grow?
- Ease of cleaning – because there will be food everywhere
- Size and storage – how much space does it take up, and does it fold?
- Longevity – how long will you really use it?
- Value for money – does the price match what you get?
- Parent and professional feedback – what our tester and The Honest Midwife thought
Gold Winner: Maxi-Cosi Minla Plus Highchair

The highchair that goes from baby to big kid, and does every stage well.
RRP: from £179.99 | Shop the Maxi-Cosi Minla Plus →
Why It Won Gold
The Minla Plus is designed for use from birth up to 14 years, and it’s the most thoughtfully put together chair in this category. The seat reclines from nearly flat to fully upright, and the leg rest and footrest adjust as your child grows. The tray swings open on a hinge with one hand, and the insert lifts out and goes in the dishwasher. Small hooks hold the harness straps out of the way while you get your child in. It has four wheels, with brakes on the front pair, and it folds flat for storage. When your child outgrows the highchair, the seat detaches and straps to a dining chair as a booster. The fabrics are water-repellent and machine washable.
Key Features
- Suitable from birth to 14 years
- 5 recline positions, adjustable leg rest and footrest
- One-hand rotating tray with a dishwasher-safe insert
- Harness hooks that hold the straps out of the way
- Four wheels, with brakes on the front pair
- Folds flat, with the tray clipping to the back
- Seat detaches to use as a booster on a dining chair
- Machine washable, water-repellent fabrics
Things to Consider
It is the most expensive chair on the podium. It comes in only two colour, and the price varies between retailers, so it is worth shopping around. As with any highchair, it is for babies who can sit up, and a newborn would not be eating in it.
Silver Winner: Joie Multiply 6-in-1 Highchair

Six jobs in one chair, for families who want one buy that does it all.
RRP: £100 | Shop the Joie Multiply 6-in-1 →
Why It Won Silver
The Multiply turns into a reclining highchair, a traditional highchair, a booster seat, a portable booster, a toddler chair and a play table. It has three recline positions and five height settings, plus a removable two-layer tray that goes in the dishwasher and adjusts with one hand. The seat cover comes off for washing, and the tray insert is easy to clean. Our testers praise how versatile it is and how long it can be used. It is a great option if you want a chair that will still be earning its place on the kitchen floor in a few years’ time.
Key Features
- 6 modes: reclining highchair, highchair, booster, portable booster, toddler chair, play table
- 3 recline positions and 5 height settings
- Removable two-layer tray, dishwasher safe, one-hand adjustment
- Removable, washable seat cover
- Suitable from 6 months to 6 years
- Freestanding when folded
Things to Consider
It is a bigger chair than the others and doesn’t fold flat, so it needs a proper amount of floor space. Our tester found the tray heavy to position, and two of the legs are wheels, so check it feels steady on your floor and use the brakes.
Bronze Winner: Ickle Bubba Flip Magic Fold Highchair

A simple, space-saving highchair that does the basics very well for the price.
RRP: £59 | Shop the Ickle Bubba Flip Magic Fold →
Why It Won Bronze
For £59 you get a highchair that folds with one hand to just 7cm deep, so it slides behind a door or under a table. It weighs only 4.3kg and takes babies from sitting up unaided to 15kg. There is a 5-point harness and a footrest, and the tray comes off for cleaning. The seat cover wipes clean or pops off. Our parent testers rated it very highly for value, ease of use and cleaning, and say it feels sturdy with no slipping. It comes with a 4 year warranty. If you’re short on space or on budget, this is a very good choice.
Key Features
- Folds with one hand to 7cm deep
- Lightweight at 4.3kg
- From sitting unaided to 15kg
- 5-point harness and footrest
- Removable tray
- Wipe-clean, removable seat cover
- 4 year warranty
Things to Consider
The seat doesn’t recline or change height, and the tray doesn’t adjust, so a smaller baby may find it harder to reach. The seat is unpadded and can feel roomy for a young baby, and the harness straps can be fiddly to adjust.
A Note on Value
We have awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze, but if we had been judging purely on value for money, Ickle Bubba would have taken Gold. At £59 it does the basics really well, and all three of these highchairs are excellent. Which one is right for you depends on what you need.
If you want one chair to last from weaning to the teenage years, the Maxi-Cosi is the one. If you want a chair that does six jobs, look at the Joie. And if you need a second highchair, for the odd dinner at Grandma’s or a small kitchen, the Ickle Bubba is a great choice.
Congratulations
Well done to Maxi-Cosi, Joie and Ickle Bubba. Three very different highchairs for three different kitchens – and a special well done to Ickle Bubba for being the only brand to enter.
Congratulations to our winners
Congratulations to all our Best in Feeding winners. Feeding can be one of the hardest parts of the early weeks, and good kit can make it that bit easier.
Remember that no bottle, pump or gadget replaces good support. If feeding is painful or hard, or you’re worried about your baby’s weight, speak to your midwife, health visitor or an infant feeding specialist. You don’t have to struggle on your own.
Thank you to every brand that entered. Entry is always free, and I’m grateful to everyone who took part.
Next, see the winners in Best on Wheels, Best in Nursery and Best in Carriers.
