Our car seat awards take into account feedback from parents, insights from brand experts, and even considerations provided by an experienced road traffic police officer. We have also reviewed the safety credentials and testing information provided by manufacturers and independent bodies where available.

However, we do not carry out our own crash testing. Car seat safety depends on many factors, including your child’s age, weight, and height, as well as correct installation in your specific vehicle.
